How can we help?

Answers to common questions about short links, tracking, and affiliate programs.

What is gnlink?

gnlink is a URL shortener and link-tracking platform for performance marketers. Create short, branded links, add UTM tags, and see click and conversion analytics you can trust.

How do I create a short link?

Sign in, open your dashboard, and paste a destination URL. You can set a custom slug, pick a branded domain if you've added one, and generate a QR code for the link.

What analytics do I get?

Every link tracks clicks with breakdowns by geography, device, referrer, and time of day. Bot traffic is filtered so your click and conversion counts reflect real people. UTM parameters are preserved through the redirect for accurate attribution.

How does affiliate / conversion tracking work?

You can run affiliate programs and attribute conversions back to the link and affiliate that drove them, using last-click or first-click within the attribution window. gnlink measures and attributes conversions and calculates commissions — it is track-only and does not process or pay out money itself. You record payouts in your own tools.

Can I A/B test or rotate destinations?

Yes. A link rotator / A-B split test can send traffic across multiple destinations so you can compare performance from a single short link.

Do you support custom (branded) domains?

Yes. You can connect your own domain so your short links carry your brand instead of the default gn2.me domain.

Is there an API?

Yes. gnlink has a public API for creating links and reading analytics. See the API documentation for endpoints and authentication.

How do you handle privacy and my visitors' data?

gnlink is built to count clicks and conversions without exposing your visitors' personal data. For full detail on what is and isn't collected, see our Privacy Policy.
